(Since I'm lazy here have a copy-paste from my tumblr)
(Here's the post on tumblr btw, you can answer here too and you have a crappy drawing of me crying yaaaay : [link])
Hi guys! I've already talked about it but for those who don't know : my tablet, a wacom intuos 4, has been lagging for 3 weeks now, making it a hell to use and almost impossible to draw with. I've tried everything. I changed the drivers, re-installed everything, changed the cable, the tip of the pen, tried on several computers (it's always the same)… I had this tablet for almost 5 years now. My first tablet lasted 5 years but it was a 30 euros one, not 200 euros like this one.
So I have several questions for you, and please please if you can help me, do so, I'm desperate! I can't live without a tablet! Not only do I use it to draw for myself, but I also use it to work. And I'll soon start a new project at school that I'll only be able to work on at home… So without a tablet, impossible!
Now my questions are : do you think 5 years is a normal lifetime for an expensive tablet. (things to know : I didn't treat it very carefully…)
Do you think I should buy another not very expensive one (knowing I tried to draw on a bamboo and it was super hard and frustrating. I'm way too used to intuos…) while sending this one to wacom in hope they can repair it? (or that my parents who know a hell lot more about computer than I do try to repair it.)
Or should I just buy a new intuos (which would be the fastest solution, but I really don't need to spend 200 euros right now…)?
What's your experience with graphic tablet? What should I do? PLEASE HELP ME I'M DESPERATE I JUST WANT TO DRAW ON MY COMPUTER IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK? wacom whyyyy *drown in an ocean of tears*
Thank you! ;w;
P.
